Villa Sedan is located in the centre of Sopot, half way between Sopot railway station and the pier, in quiet Pulaskiego Street. This street lies parallel to the popular pedestrian thoroughfare known as Monciak, and two-storey wood structure can be seen from this promenade as one turns into Bema Street. Renovated in 2002, this green Art Nouveau style villa originates from before 1887. Its within easy reach of the cultural, shopping, eating and sporting attractions of the city, as well as nightlife areas.
Named after the French town of Sedan, this wood covered building lies somewhere between a rustic adobe house and a contemporary villa-style hotel. Canopies, stairs, balustrades and benches decorate it on the outside, while the room interiors feature rustic wooden furnishing and squeaking parquets, verandas and modern amenities. They differ in size and layout, but all come fitted with four-poster beds, desks, luggage shelves, telephones, LCD TVs, Internet and tiled bathrooms with either shower cabins or tubs. The two units in the tower (number 207 and 202) are best suited for couples with their large bathtub, comfy queen-sized bed and oversized windows overlooking Monte Cassino Street and the sea. There's an air-conditioned 25-seater conference room and the ground-floor as well as a restaurant serving French dishes where a pianist plays there on weekends.
