Strung along a traffic-heavy road in Praga, the eastern suburb of the city some 5 kilometres from the centre, three-level white building with its beetroot-coloured roof is a pleasant roadside accommodation for weary travellers. It can take up to 30 minutes to reach downtown by public transport, but the Zoo, Warszawa Wilenska shopping mall, and a number of eclectic bars and cafes are accessible within a 15-minute bus ride.
Not in the same league as the top tier champagne-in-the-bathtub type hotels, but Arkadia Hotel ticks all the boxes for a friendly, mid-level hotel: clean, comfortably and uncomplicated. Spacious letting rooms are simple and neatly furnished with wood desks, wardrobes, flatscreen TVs and tiled bathrooms with shower cabins.
