Tucked away down a leafy country lane is the Atelier, a typical timber framed and stone built Highlander home. Around a five minute drive away is the start to the Gubałowka Mountain trail and equally nearby are the Szymoszkowa open air swimming pool, ski lifts and slope. Following the main road will take drivers to the Dolina Chochołowska trail and onto Slovakia.
Atelier is another example of a first-rate family run villa that has been finished off to an exceptionally high standard. Run by Beata and her artist husband Alek, Atelier welcomes with a beautiful lounge with a rustic stone fireplace and purring cats on velvet sofas. Along the corridors and in the rooms are Alek's paintings, which create the character and pastel colour palette for each individually designed space. All rooms are bright and jazzy, with gold embroided bedspreads and immaculate, coffee coloured bathrooms with roomy shower cabins. All have fridge, Wi-Fi and mountain views. Some chambers come with a jacuzzi bath behind stone walls and private balconies. One space can be sold as one apartment or as two separate rooms with a shared lounge. Willa Atelier makes the ideal, secret get-away for sweethearts, young or old.
