To serve the surge of travelling youth to Wroclaw, Boogie Hostel set up shop in 2008 on the top three levels of a charming 18-century tenement house on the corner of Sw. Mikolaja and Ruska streets. Its convenient location, only 10 minutes on foot from the Old Town's Market Square, make it and ideal base for sightseeing fun. A slew of cafes, restaurants and cool nightclubs are also situated in the surrounding area.
This youthful and laid-back place is an inexpensive choice for the international backpacker set. Accommodations are cosy but comfortable - ranging from singles to four-bed rooms - with little decor to speak of, just warm wood floors, low-slung beds and plain walls. Shared facilities on the corridor come with squeaky-clean showers and toilets. The second-floor reception and common room has a subtly playful feel with sofas, books, a large LCD TV and a foosball table, while the fully-equipped kitchen boasts complimentary tea and coffee. There's also Wi-Fi Internet throughout the premises.
