Affiliated with another Bydgoszcz hotel, the Brda, the Ratuszowy is housed in a former burgher’s house in one of the streets off the Market Square, in the heart of the Old Town. A mere 2 minutes’ walk away from the Market Square and some 7 from the Brda River with its old granaries make this location convenient for anyone who likes to be surrounded by atmospheric cobbled streets and historic houses. The railway station is about 2 km from the hotel while the airport is about 5 km.
An intimate 2-star hotel has existed here since 1882, when an administrative building was bought by Juliusz Lengnin and turned into a hotel. Since then it has spent most of its time as the Lengnin Hotel. Today, the rooms are equipped with modern furniture of various styles and colours, the standard is rather basic, but comfortable, with wireless Internet access in the rooms. Some of the rooms have been recently refurbished and now offer an improved standard of accommodation. One suite is available with a separate bedroom and living room. On the ground floor you can take advantage of the cosy Ratuszowa restaurant, serving meals based on traditional Polish cuisine.
