Since this apartment is situated at Dlugi Targ, next to Green Gate, it is difficult to think of any better location in Gdansk. Artus Court, Neptune’s Fountain, and the Main Town Hall can all be seen by doing no more than leaning out of a window. The apartment is close to all other attractions in the old part of Gdansk, tourist information centre, water tram jetty, restaurants, and shops, while Gdansk Glowny railway station is only a few minute’s walk away. On one side of the apartment is a view over Dlugi Targ, busy with tourists, and on the side is a yard.

The apartment is on the second floor of a renovated Baroque bourgeois house from 1680, painted in turquoise, with an eagle flying up from the top of the facade that is also decorated with well-preserved reliefs of monsters, shells and fruit. At the ground level, and typical of old Gdansk terraces, there is a gallery and a shop selling souvenirs of amber. You enter the apartment from the Powroznicza Street side through the backyard, taking the creaky common staircase. The apartment consists of two sitting rooms with elegant leather foldout sofas. The room with the backyard view has a fully equipped kitchen annex, with two burner cookers, refrigerator, and an electric kettle. The rooms are large and high, with a peach decor that includes dark wooden furniture, wooden floors, stucco on the ceiling, lighted paintings, Tiffany style lamps, and soundproof windows. There is a choice of satellite TV and DVD on the large LCD monitor with Dolby Surround system. In the bathroom, you will find a shower cabin, washing machine, hairdryer, and ironing board. Parking near the apartment is quite limited, as it is located in a pedestrian zone. You can usually park on Granary Island, at the Novotel hotel for example, just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.

The front door key didn't allow us in when the electronic door failed 50% of the time. We spent a good amount of time messing with the security door in the cold and snow nervous we wouldn't get back in. Otherwise it's what we expected. Very pretty room and great location. I recommend you rent it as a party pad and stay somewhere else for comfort and relaxation...

Cheap for the quality and the situation. A little bit difficult to find and the owner was not there when we arrive. We did not know we have to call him.

In all web sites about hotel there´s the information that apartment in "Dlugi Targ" street and none of people asked in polish about the street could say where it was. The street name is "Dluga" but even when you´re on this street you won´t find the apartment when you´re looking for "Dlugi targ" street.

The water would run hot for 30-40 seconds and then would go cold for no reason. The only way to sort this out would be to turn it off completely and then try again. This got really annoying and tiresome.

Our goal was to party and have a good time. Here Is our Opinion: Meeting with owner: Could not check inn before 16 Oclock (In the description it sayed 12) Had to pay the whole amount on the first day (The description said after the last day) Location: From railway station it took about 17 min to walk. its located at the old town city center. So if you want to live in the old town this is an good location (The bad thing is that the old town has nothing to offer! if you want to party you should go to sobot, because they only have Bars in the city center) Situated next to Radission sas hotel First impression: The bulding is two sided. One side is facing the old town and locks very good. The other is facing an ally which looks very bad. The stairway up to the appartement is really old. The Apartment: When coming in to the apartment it looks very nice. It looks allot bigger in the pictures taken but it still looks very nice! It has one 2 big sofas which are used for beds and one singel sofa which also can be used for bed. SO NOOO BEDS only sleeping sofas! The sofas are not comfortable either so the owner should by BEDS!! The kitchen was equipped well but did NOT have an Owen.. The windows did NOT have good curtains so the sun was shining up the apartment early in the morning. WATER and showering COLD WATER FIRST DAY.. AND NO PRESSURE in the shower.. had to call the owner and make him fix this.. Him came immediately but the second day we had warm water in the bathroom but cold water in the living room All togheter: 3.5/6
