LOCALIZZAZIONE E DESCRIZIONE DELL’ALBERGO
This hotel is located in Jelitkowo, on the border with Sopot, and is one of a few Gdansk hotels located beside a beach – and everyone gets a sea view. Marina neighbours the Seaside Park, a camping site, and small local gardens. A walk to Sopot pier takes 20 minutes, and a drive to old centre about 25 minutes.
Marina has dominated the coastline for over a quarter of century. This square white-green, nine-storey hotel emerges from the seaside verdure. The five lower, identical floors have recently been renovated, while the rooms on the upper floors were done in 1997. Marina offers single and double rooms, both standard and superior, and suites with bathtubs and showers, Canal+ satellite and Pay TV, access to the Internet (in some rooms), minibars, magnetic locks and beach towels. The business-type rooms have safe-boxes, coffee and tea making sets, and trouser presses in addition. The hotel has been known for its casino and tennis courts, where guests are offered a discount. There is a windsurfing centre nearby. You can use the indoor swimming pool, sauna, mini-gym, volley ball and basketball areas, and playgrounds, or you can try out Chinese gymnastics (on Thursdays) free of charge, as well as use the solarium, massage, billiard tables, bicycles and the babysitter services for a fee. At your disposal is the restaurant, a bar with newspapers, kiosk, hairdresser’s and beauty parlour, the Business Centre and Internet corner. The fenced hotel area is separated from the beach by the promenade, with its lane for cyclists and roller-skaters.
