Though its career as a hotel spans merely a decade, the stately red-brick palace has stood in Lezno since the 18th century. This meticulously renovated mansion, and the modern annex added in 2004, are situated six kilometres from the Tri-City ring road and around 12 kilometres from downtown Gdansk, which takes about 20 minutes by car and 40 minutes by the private buses that stop out front. It's also a 10 minute drive from the international airport (8 kilometres away). From the rooms there is a view over the five hectare park and gravel driveway with its statue of a crane.
As guests would expect, the palace interiors are not exactly short on period charms, boasting balustrades, stained glass, arches, and floral reproductions throughout the public spaces. The same stately charm carries into the higher-category guestrooms, which are decorated with Biedermeier-style furniture, coffee and tea making sets and satellite TV. The neighbouring annex houses the standard single and double units, all dressed up in creamy hues and modern furnishings, small windows and metal-framed beds. Wireless Internet access, cable TV and shower-only bathrooms are the norm throughout. Dining options include the classy restaurant serving Polish and European dishes, and the underground hunter-themed Soplica Pub offering regional meals. There's also a compact wine cellar, five conference rooms, sauna, fitness room, and additional amenities include complimentary onsite parking, and airport transfers (surcharge).
