The hotel is situated next to the four-lane highway leading from the Tri-city towards Szczecin, on its southern side, close to Reda and Wejherowo. On the northern side of the highway are the hotel tennis courts and a stud. Every 20-50 minutes, SKM trains pass through, the station being only a 4 minute walk from the hotel. From some of the windows of the hotel you can see houses and part of a forest of the Tri-city Landscape Park. The distance from centre Gdynia it's about 10km.
Supposedly, Murat was the name of the owners’ predecessor, a soldier with Napoleon. The hotel was built in 1994, and will undergo renovation as soon as the spa building (currently under construction) is ready. The white-grey, antique facade with six columns, eleven stairs (to be climbed), leads you to the monumental lobby. Murat regards itself as the centre for conferences and integration, and large companies are its key clients. A special customer relations department works closely with them, and offers large-scale activities, events with high numbers of participants, and use of the multifunctional halls, including the stained-glass room and the spacious restaurant. Its nightclub easily accommodates 160 people, and its parking space is big enough for several coaches. On the forest side there is a barbecue grill, Kukulka canopy and stage. You can use the forest for jogging or Nordic walking. Slot machines, billiards and tennis tables, and solarium are at your disposal. Single and double rooms differ in size, colour schemes, furniture, but all have large bathrooms. Satellite TV, wireless Internet, and telephones are installed in all rooms.
