The hotel is located 7 km east from Kielce, not far from the Kielce-Lublin road and another road leading to the mountain resort of Swieta Katarzyna, some 20 km away. The hotel was built in a pine forest, 350 metres from Lake Cedzyna. Away beyond the lake, on the horizon, can be seen Kielce itself. With this location, you can be sure that trees are a prime feature of the view from all the rooms. There are several ski lifts in the neighbourhood, and a sport airport in Maslow. The hotel is the perfect base for excursions to the Holy Cross Mountains, and a good starting point for travellers crossing Poland.
The hotel was built a quarter of century ago to accommodate groups wishing to visit the Holy Cross Mountains. Frequently awarded, it had no competition in the region until recently, and the awards can be viewed near the stone-clad lobby that separates the accommodation part from the eating and drinking areas and the billiard club next to them. The hotel is frequently used as a conference centre, although some of the facilities need some renovation. However, nothing can take away the fresh pinewood air, the birdsong, and the sheer quality of the peace, enabling one to work or to relax after work or travel. All the moderately modern rooms are fully furnished, and have bathrooms with showers, cable TV, Internet access, and some even have mini-bars.
