Campanile is located in a quiet and easily accessible side street, 15 minutes on foot from the Old Town and the Lublin Plaza shopping and entertainment centre. It is a short stroll away from the lovely old Saski Park and less than 400 metres from Lublin’s main shopping street, Krakowskie Przedmiescie. There are numerous local government offices nearby, and to get to the hotel you should turn off the Warsaw-Zamosc road into Lubomelska Street at the Ryszarda Kuklinskiego Roundabout. If you are interested in history, then the hotel lies on the edge of the former town of Wieniawa – where you can still find the old town hall and former Jewish cemetery.
Campanile was built several years ago, and the building is distinctive with its red, white and green colour scheme. The hotel promotes itself with the slogan You feel like at home while with us, as is usual for the Campanile chain, and was declared the best of 900 Louvre Hotels in 2007. There are four floors with the same layout and beige and light brown colour schemes, the rooms being moderately spacious with their own bathrooms. You have a choice of one large or two smaller beds, and all rooms are noise-proof and air-conditioned, with modern furniture, Canal+ satellite TV, a place to work and access to the Internet. The doors have electronic locks, and bathrooms have heaters. There is fee coffee, tea, and cookies, mineral water, while the restaurant offers regional and French cuisine, cheap take-away meals, Sunday family brunches and a children’s corner. Newspapers are available free of charge near the bar in the lobby.
