The hotel is located in the city Centre, on the junction of five busy streets, with many shops and travel agencies around. It takes only some 15 minutes to walk to the main shopping street of Krakowskie Przedmiescie and the Old Town, and even less to two theatres and the Lublin Plaza shopping and entertainment centre. The hotel is convenient for a number of trade and exhibition centres, sport grounds, the Ludowy Park, the railway station, and the path along the Bystrzyca River, which is great to jog along. It is easy to get to Victoria no matter from which direction you arrive, especially since the hotel towers above its surroundings and its restaurant dominates the junction it overlooks. There is a great view over the city from the upper floors.
The Victoria is the largest hotel in town and has the biggest air-conditioned conference room. The pride of the hotel is, however, the meeting and party room on the eleventh floor, with a view of the Old Town, and the terrace where prestigious events are held. The building dates from 1972, since when the hotel has taken an active part in life of the city, such as being a venue for art school exhibitions. This modernised hotel has standard plus and deluxe rooms as well as suites, all with bathrooms, cable TV, internet (some rooms), and a place to work. Beds with anti-allergic bedding are available. The cocktail bar is open 24 hours a day, and there is a newspaper stand, travel agency, money-exchange, ATM, and post-box located in the large lobby, with a billiard room next door. On the first floor is the Victoria music club. The air-conditioned restaurant offers Polish cuisine and vegetarian dishes, and there is a Solarium and Poker Club.
