Willa Oberza Sasiadow is located in the good area of Sobiczkowa Bor, between the elegant houses of the western edge of town, south of the Zakopane-Koscielisko road. In order to get there, you need to drive 3 km west from the centre, and after passing the Szymaszkowa swimming pool turn left into a narrow, asphalted road, the first after the bridge. Then, disregarding the house numbers, follow the signs. After 400 metres, turn right into an unsurfaced road, and after several dozen metres enter the yard on the left. From the north, some 500 metres away, are the ski lifts on Gubalowka, while southwards is the Krzeptowki sanctuary located next to the Zakopane-Chocholow road, only a few minutes’ walk away. Local transport stops 400 m away. From the windows, you can see other villas, meadows, and the garden.
It seems that more stone than timber was used to build Willa Oberza Sasiadow, inspired by Witkiewicz’s house. The rooms are in the highlander style, softened by details from a furniture store chain. The hundred year old beams come from Krakow, and there are oak floorboards, painted beds, bedding designed with mutton “for counting”, a wooden cradle, original heron-shaped lamps, a bathtub with feet, large mirrors, and hides, all adding to the charm of the place. The rooms somehow differ from each other, as they each have their own animal mascots to decorate them. There are six rooms for 2-4 persons, including suites and studios equipped with pine wood furniture, small TVs with satellite TV, wireless Internet, and even slippers and cosmetics worthy of a four-star hotel. Allocated shelves in the fridge are marked with the room’s mascot symbols. At your disposal is a garden with a grill, free coffee and tea as well as games in the fireplace room, where there is a seventy year old piano. This room also performs the role of dining room, with a long table for twenty people. The room price includes sauna, mini-gym and a chip-card operated car park. The owner says “it is simply fine here, and we do everything ourselves”.
