The Ascot is located close to the historic city centre, which is about a 10 minute walk away, and the main train and bus stations. The railway viaduct passes behind the hotel and some of our customers have noticed the noise from rooms at the back. The Ascot's also handy for visiting Hala Targowa, a traditional Polish market, which is very popular at weekends with locals and tourists alike.
Step through the Ascot's glass doors and you'll be welcomed into a spacious reception decorated with art deco paintings. On one side there's a snug cafe/bar serving drinks and snacks, and on the other an Internet terminal and cosy sofa to lounge on. The rooms include quads, triples and singles and are attractively furnished in a chocolate brown colour scheme, with desk and chair, TV, free wireless connection, air-con and safe deposit box and a modern bathroom with shower. Room sizes vary from 13 to 17 sq metres.
