For party-lovers a better location would be hard to find in Kazimierz, as Kolory is right on the hip happening square of Plac Nowy with its trendy bars, nightlife and a great market at weekends for browsing in. The main historic city centre’s a brisk 15 minute stroll away. Enter Kolory through its craft store filled with colourful wooden handicrafts and the reception’s at the far end. Be aware, some of our customers have pointed out that the square can get very noisy at night.
There's a home-like atmosphere and more at Bed & Breakfast Kolory. Along with the next door Les Couleurs bar, where breakfast is served, the B&B is owned and run by a pair of Francophile sisters – and it shows especially in the Parisian poster themed bar. Kolory’s 13 rooms and two apartments are set over three floors reached via a bright, whitewashed staircase. The rooms have a traditional rustic Polish atmosphere with polished floorboards, sturdy bedsteads, lace tablecloths and handicrafts from the ground floor store. Rooms on the third floor are apartments – ideal for families and groups – while two communal balconies are perfect spots for a ciggy and a late afternoon beer. Be aware, there's no lift in this four storey building.
