The Campanile is easy to spot, towering on a corner overlooking the Planty – the city’s green belt – and off a side street in the old city centre. The hotel's a nifty two minute taxi ride away from the main railway station. It's bang in the centre of town close to all the attractions and sights of Krakow’s medieval heart, including St Mary’s Church and the Cloth Hall.
A bright and breezy reception and foyer area with wicker furnishings and large glass windows greets guests arriving at the Campanile Hotel. The hotel was renovated in 2007 and its rooms are spread over seven floors. All are more or less identical and are of a good standard for a two star hotel, with extras not found in many three stars. They are generously proportioned, many with views of the Planty and are carpeted and simply furnished with TV , bathroom and shower and free tea and coffee. Seven rooms, one on each floor, straddle the corner of the hotel and hence you get more space for your zlotys. Campanile is part of the French owned Louvre Hotel group.
