The Conrad is in the northern part of the city and has excellent connections to the A4 for Warsaw, Katowice, and Wroclaw. Krakow Balice Airport is only 20 minutes away by car. There is a frequent local bus service outside the hotel and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the main city centre. When approaching the hotel, keep your eyes peeled for Ikea as it's situated opposite.
The nautically designed Conrad was opened in 2009 and its facade features a striking curve resembling the bow of a ship. The sea-faring theme continues through the hotel with models and prints of gallons. The rooms are all ship shape and contemporarily furnished with big double beds, sturdy wood desks and wardrobes, flat screen TVs and safe boxes. Bathrooms all with shower feature mosaic borders. There are two-roomed apartments consuming the corner of each floor, which have air-con and even more luxurious bathrooms. A sauna and a jacuzzi where you can chill out is on the first floor and a restaurant, flexible conference space and business centre takes up most of the ground. The Conrad's a good choice for business clients, conventions, large groups or anyone with a passion for the sea.
