CracowRent Apartments are just a stone's throw from the medieval market square and the Planty, the city's green belt. The apartments are housed in a Cracovian townhouse on a busy thoroughfare lined with bars, bistros and a few 24 hour kiosks. Press the buzzer outside the block and skirt up the stairs on the right to the second floor. The YMCA opposite the apartments houses a handy swimming pool and cinema.
A family run collection of various sized self-contained spaces make up the CracowRent Apartment brand. The affable owner, who lives on the top floor, has decked out each apartment in muted colours, livened up with the odd souvenir picked up from his travels. All bedrooms have single pine beds, plus some sofas covert into extra sleeping space. Basic shower rooms pass the test. Kitchens are equipped with enough for a short stay, including plug-in hob and microwave. While these make great spaces for small groups of friends of up to six, revellers be warned that noisy and drunken debauchery will be rewarded with a paving stone as a pillow for the night.

Note: There is no lift to the apartments, which are on the second and third floors of the building.
