Situated in the Bronowice district, the Demel's about 10 to 15 minutes to the city centre via a direct tram. To the main bus and train terminals it's a 15 minute cab ride. Opposite the hotel is the Wawel Sports Club Stadium, which hosts international matches. The medieval ruined fort of Bronowice behind the hotel is worth exploring.
The Demel hotel offers accommodation in double or twin rooms (with two rooms adapted for physically challenged guests), suites, watering holes and conference rooms scattered over its five floors. Rooms are decked out with dark wood furniture and faded carpets. Bathrooms have a shower cubicle. There are four suites, good for small groups or larger families. Guests can sup all year round in the ground floor restaurant hung with hunting themed tapestries and drink in the basement Polish pub or round the clock in the Aperitif Bar. The Demel would suit large groups or sports fans popping over to the stadium across the road.
