You’ll find Hostel 70s down a side street just a short meander from the hip hangout that is Kazimierz with all its late night eateries and watering holes. In the other direction is Wawel Castle and the historic city centre and in another the mellow waterway that is the Wisla River.
Hostel 70s is tiny but what it lacks in size it makes up for in spirit. Just two private rooms and an eight person dormitory link to the cosy, inviting common room cum breakfast room, kitchen and reception. In fact the vibe in the hostel feels more like you’ve popped round to visit your mate and some of his pals in his bedsit. A big cosy sofa, games including old style board ones and newer ones courtesy of a game boy, magazines, guides, free tea and coffee and a laid-back buzz are part of the course here. As for that 70s feel; you can stay in the Abba, Boney M or Bee Gees room and their greatest hits will probably be buzzing on the reception’s radio too.
