The hostel is just across the main road from the Planty - the green belt that runs around the old medieval city centre. The quickest route from here or the main bus and train terminals is to cut down Wielopole road, off the Planty, and the hostel's at the end of the first road on the left. Note the sign outside says 'Hostel Wielopole aCesar'.
Hostel aCesar is tucked away in an old Cracovian tenement house. It has eight budget-busting rooms spread over two floors which can sleep from two to six guests. There are a few rooms with their own no-nonsense shower room while the rest share a couple of communal bathrooms. As it's an old block, rooms have high ceilings and feel very spacious. Furniture is kept to a minimum but what there is, is up to scratch; little black round tables, wicker chairs and wall racks for hanging clothes. On both floors there's hang out space with easy chairs and a free PC to hook up to. All in all, not a bad deal for backpackers and cash conscious travellers and there's a top pizzeria next door too.

  There are no breakfast facilities in the hostel. There is free tea and coffee available in the reception area.
