The Poleski has a fab location perched on the riverbank facing Wawel Castle. From the hotel a trim path leads straight to the riverbank walkway. It's also near to the Grunwaldzkie Roundabout, handy for trams and buses to the city centre. Culture vultures can enjoy the Japanese Manga Centre next door. It takes about half an hour to walk to the medieval market square and about 10 minutes in a cab to the main railway station.
The Poleski's real selling point is its panoramic views of Wawel Castle and the river, which fronts its restaurant, roof terrace and many of its bedrooms. The hotel itself is a modern block housing standard rooms and a few suites. These are decked out in a mustard colour palette, with modern furnishings, plus Wi-Fi, mini-bar and plenty of storage space. Wawel facing rooms come with Juliet balconies. There are some suites and corner triples too. The terrace bar is the place to be on a sunny day and the restaurant has a Polish cum international menu featuring a few house specialities. Note: A few rooms have partial or no Wawel views.
