The Hotel Rezydent nestles among a row of exclusive shops on what use to be Krakow’s old royal route and is now one of the busiest thoroughfares in the Old Town. All the main sights and attractions are literally on your doorstep; the main medieval market square to one side and Wawel Castle, about a 10 minutes stroll away, in the opposite direction. The main bus and train terminals are about a five minute cab ride away.
This charming mid-range hotel has been converted from a 16th century medieval townhouse evident from the mass of historic features and details in some of its rooms and apartments. The Rezydent is split between two buildings about 50 metres apart on the same side of the street. It's in rooms in the main wing where sleeping spaces feature exquistly stencilled wall patterns, wooden-beamed ceilings and antique furnishings. Oil paintings and old prints grace the walls and hallways. Breakfasts are served in a restaurant in the second part of the hotel.
