The RT Galicya is located on a quiet side street in the Lagiewniki district. The area is famed for the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy, blessed by John Paul ll, and about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. From Galicya it takes about 15 minutes by cab to reach the main train and bus stations. The city centre is about 10 minutes away by trams 8 and 10 from the 'Rondo Matecznego' stop.
The Galicya is part of the RT chain and follows a similar set pattern of down to earth sleeping spaces as its sister hotels. Rooms were freshened up in early 2010 and are functional and spacious enough. All are fitted out with hotel regulation wood furnishings, TV and a small seating area. Bathrooms have a shower cubicle only. Galicya has an open-all-day restaurant and conference facilities.
