The Piano Guest House is tucked away on a backstreet just a few minutes walk from the main train station and ten minutes walk from the historic city centre. Guests can contact the owner of the guest room for a free pick up from the main bus or train terminals, or from the airport for 15 EURO. Note, there's no sign outside the guest house.
Many of our customers have been wowed by the charm and traditional Polish hospitality of the mother and son proprietors at the beautifully restored Piano Guest House. The building has been in Płatek family for more than 120 years and was built by the present owner's great-grandfather. It's been faithfully restored to its original style and the gorgeous breakfast room is decked out with traditional old dark wooden furniture, lace tablecloths and family heirlooms. Rooms have antique furniture including desks, wardrobes and bedsteads and oils and prints help convey a real glimmer of the past. Bathrooms with shower are spot on. Note there are no TVs to spoil the magical setting. The guest rooms would suit anyone looking for a bohemian, friendly and intimate little spot.
