It occupies the top floors of an elegant 17th century tenement house with panoramic views of the Royal Caste, Vistula River or lovingly-rebuilt historic structures. It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the city centre and the main train station by bus.

The building is well-known well-known for its literary and cultural heritage, and it also served as the one-time home of Polish writer Zofia Nałowska.
