Lublin is a good starting point for short excursions to the beauty spots of the Lublin Upland. We have organised a 9-hour tour for you, which includes Janowiec, Kazimierz Dolny and Naleczow.
We will start at Janowiec, where the romantic ruins of the Firley family castle commands the Vistula river valley from the top of an escarpment. The second attraction is the Ethnographic Park, situated in the castle park. Next, we will cross the Vistula River by ferry to get to Kazimierz Dolny, the centre of the artistic heritage of the Lublin region. Picturesque and quaint briefly describes this town. You will visit the main square, the Parish Church with its beautiful Renaissance interior, the Drum Tower and the preserved ruins of the Castle, the latter two offering a splendid panoramic view of the Vistula river valley. We end our tour with a short drive to Naleczow, a pleasant and relaxing spa town. There you will see the Baroque Palace of the Malachowski family surrounded by its beautiful, old park. Naleczow is still a very popular spa, and was once a favourite of many Polish writers in the 19th and early 20th century (notably Zeromski and Prus), and we hope that you will fall in love with it as well.
