The Senator sits at the edge of Katowice's city centre and is next to Highway 79 for fast connections to other major Polish cities. It takes around 10 minutes to walk to the main shopping and business districts and 15 to the city's rail and bus terminals.
Senator offers homely, if slightly dowdy rooms in a handy spot near to the city centre. Rooms are a good size, although the space does make them feel a bit spartan. All are fitted out with twin beds, plenty of storage space, the odd oil painting or two and standard issue hotel furnishings. Most rooms enjoy their own private balcony. The restaurant on the lower ground floor serves up a traditional Polish menu for lunch and dinner and also makes a good spot for private banquets and large groups. The Senator has on hand a choice of large and intimate meeting spaces, including a conference room which can hold up to 70. A fine, all round pick for low-key business bods.
