The Zaleze is located north-east of the city centre. It takes around 20 minutes to walk into the heart of Katowice or five minutes by tram. Nearby is a cinema, bowling alley and the National Stadium and Planetarium.
Homely, old fashioned comfort awaits guests opting to check in at the Zaleze. Rooms come as singles or twins and are decked out with traditional chunky style furnishings. Some have blinds at the windows which, as some of our customers have said, don't keep the light out. Couples beware - some twins beds can't be joined together. For lone travellers though, single rooms are refreshingly spacious. Lurking below stairs is the Chata Drwala - Woodcutter's Home - Restaurant clad in pine with dangling oil lamps and a hearty Silsiean themed menu. Private get-togethers can be arranged in the Mysliwska Room boasting an eclectic display of stuffed bison heads, wild cats, deer and other madcap wildlife. Zaleze makes a good choice for low-key business types although perhaps not for any animal lovers.
