The Major is in the northern part of Krakow about 15 minutes away from the city centre by car. It's on a main highway which connects to the A4 for Warsaw, Wroclaw, Katowice or Krakow Balice Airport, a 20 minute drive away. There are also frequent buses to the city centre running 24 hours a day. The nearest train station is Cracow-Lobzow, one stop from the main train terminal.
Opened in 2007 the Major offers comfortable, generously proportioned, modern carpeted rooms all of the same standard and decor in a calm beige colour scheme with wooden fixtures and fittings. A lovely touch on the walls is the splash of colour from the photo montage prints featuring well-known Cracovian landmarks. Modern bathrooms all come with a shower and are spick and span. Well designed double glazing keeps all the noise from the busy highway at bay. In the basement guests can relax in the light and airy restaurant with its conservatory and in the snug bar. Major makes a good choice for big groups or for the busy business exec. With special discounts at the nearby Aqua Park, families would feel at home here too.
