You'll discover the Maltanski Hotel on a main road that runs adjacent to the Planty - the city's green belt - that encircles the perimeter of the ancient city centre. It's a low two-storey building and the entrance is in the courtyard. The Maltanski is a small, sedate hotel in what was once a 19th century manor house, offering 13 standard and three deluxe rooms with extras including heated bathroom floors. All rooms are furnished with antique style furniture, pretty patterned bedspreads and brass light fittings. Rooms on the ground floor have access to a secluded courtyard patio. The Maltanski would suit anyone looking for a refined, genteel place to stay with low-key elegance and charm.

  A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served between 7.00 and 10.30am. Additional hot items can be ordered off a menu. Special diets and breakfasts outside these hours can be catered for with advance notice.
