Hotel Radisson Blu looms large on a main road facing the Planty - the city's green belt - that loops around the city centre. Just across the road is the Philharmonic Hall, and the city's medieval heart, National Museum and Wawel Castle are all around a five minute stroll away. A cab ride to the main bus and train terminals shouldn't take much longer.

Expect your every whim to be catered for at the five-star Radisson Blue, which offers a smorgasbord of services and delights. Its rooms come in two styles; City rooms featuring a red and cream colour scheme are modernistic while Harmony rooms are sheng-fu inspired with curvy aqua patterns and chaise lounges. Bathrooms are stylishly designed with marble slate and huge wall mirrors and most have a bath and shower. Business class rooms and suites boast nifty extras such as Nespresso machines. With two restaurants, including the sea-faring Milk and Co, swanky lounge bar, fitness centre and conference floor, the Radisson is ideal for business and high-end leisure travellers.

    A hot and cold buffet breakfast, including American, English and Thai options, is served from 6:30 until 10am on weekdays and until 10.30am at weekends. Additional hot foods can be ordered from a menu. Lights breakfasts of coffee, tea and croissants are served from 5.30 to 6.30, breakfast packages can be prepared and special diets can be catered for.
