Sitting on top of Sopot's main tourist drag, Monte Cassino street, Rezydent Hotel is a dignified 4-storey property that evokes jazzy and vaguely dated kind of architecture that features a lot of curvy Art Nouveau elements. The train station is just round the corner, while the iconic 511-metre long wooden pier is a 10-minute stroll away.
The elegant Art Nouveau facade conceals a comfortably modern hotel that employs chic old-world design and innovative concepts in its use of soft furnishings, and tasteful materials and modern equipment. Its four floors of high-ceiling rooms, each with its own unique style, are outfitted with tasteful reproductions of antiques, floral carpets and modern electronic equipment, including LCD TVs, mini-bars, laptop-sized safe-boxes, and telephones.
