Krakow Excursion
![]()
Your stay in Warsaw can be enriched with a short or a longer excursion to Krakow, the old capital of Poland (until 1596/1609). There were attempts to move the capital back to Krakow after the total destruction of Warsaw during World War II, because Krakow remained almost untouched and in its original historical shape. Krakow is probably the most beautiful and definitely the most frequently visited Polish city: it is arguably the most Polish and most European city at the same time.
We recommend using the train to get to Krakow, not just because it is cheaper but also because it is quick and the 1st class accommodation is reasonably comfortable. We are also able to arrange limousine transportation. Once you get to Krakow, our licensed guide will meet you in your hotel and show you a round the historical centre. You will experience 3 unforgettable hours and visit the fascinating Main Square (the largest in Europe) with its Cloth Hall and Our Lady’s church, the Royal Route, the University area, and the Royal Castle on the Wawel. We propose 2 itineraries, which can be modified upon your request. |
