This is a perfect tour for anybody who would like to explore the immediate environs of Zakopane and seeks thrilling vistas, highlander folklore, remarkable timber architecture and some superb shopping.
The tour includes a basic sightseeing tour of Zakopane and then it continues to the best of the regional locations: Chocholow – a fascinating traditional highlander village, now kept as a living museum of folk art and Zakopane-style architecture. There will be occasion enough here to purchase great local hand-made souvenirs. The second must to see is Jaszczorowka, the most famous Zakopane-style timber chapel built by the legend of the local style, Stanislaw Witkiewicz.
