Day 1

Arrival day

Welcome meeting at the Warsaw airport or the train station with your driver who will take you to the centrally located hotel. Rest of the day for your private disposal. Recommended activities: visiting Praga district, viewing terrace on the 31st Floor of the Palace of Culture and Science, Warsaw Uprising, Fryderyk Chopin or the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, culinary workshops, Chopin piano concert.

Day 2

Warsaw tour

Morning:
After breakfast, enjoy a 3-hour introductory tour of Warsaw which include the very best of the city: majestic Old Town, razed to the ground during the Second World War and rebuilt with preservation of old architectural assumptions; the area of the former Jewish Ghetto; the busy downtown teeming with life all year round; the most picturesque tourist route, known as the Royal Route, which goes from the Royal Castle towards Lazienki Royal Gardens where the excursion will be finished.
Afternoon and evening:
Free time for city explorations or relax.
Overnight stay in Warsaw.

Day 3

Travel to Gdansk, the city of amber

Morning:
Meet your personal driver on the hotel lobby and transfer to the railway station to catch the express train to Gdansk. After 3,5 hours of journey, you will arrive to city where our local driver will welcome you at the arrival platform and transfer you to the selected hotel.
Afternoon:
After lunch break, explore the historic city of Gdansk with one of the best local guides. During the three hours, you see the Golden Gate, Town Hall, Neptune fountain, the Arthur’s Court and the Green Gate. Later on, you’ll have an opportunity to see the symbol of the city – the Old Crane as well as the St. Mary’s Church. Next you will enjoy a walk on Mariacka street, which is the most famous street in Gdansk. You will be amused by the cobblestones, old burgher houses with their perrons and elegant mini-terraces you’ll see at the place. This is the best area to enjoy a cup of coffee and buy some of beautiful amber jewelry. The tour ends with a visit in a small amber museum, presenting the history of amber, its properties, acquisition and processing throughout history – from the earliest times to the present day.
Evening:
Free time and overnight in Gdansk.

Day 4

Tricity: Gdansk, Gdynia and Sopot

This day you will see three different cities that formed one flourishing metropolitan area known as the Tricity.
Morning:
You’ll start from your hotel and then departure to the Gdansk shipyard, a place where Solidarity movement was created, there you’ll see a Monument to Fallen Ship Workers and a famous gate to the shipyard. Next point of the itinerary leads to the Cathedral of Oliwa – a Cistercian church, famous for its pipe organs, which you might be able to listen to.
Afternoon:
You’ll be taken to the famous Baltic resort, Sopot. Boasting beautiful beaches and ritzy resorts, Sopot is also known for its wooden pier (the longest in Europe) and lively Monte Cassino Street. You’ll have a chance to take a walk by the promenade and the pier. After a nice coffee and lunch break, you’ll be transferred to Gdynia harbor. Delight the panoramic view from Kamienna Gora Hill, visit the Kosciuszko Square with former warship ‘ORP Blyskawica’ and tall sailling ship ‘Dar Pomorza’. Drive back to your Gdansk hotel.

Free time and overnight in Gdansk.

Day 5

Teutonic castle of Malbork & Westerplatte

Morning:
Pick up from you hotel to start an excursion to The Castle of the Teutonic Order in Malbork. This world’s largest brick castle (UNESCO list) is a classic example of a medieval fortress. You will have an opportunity to get to know how the life in the past ages looked like. Nowadays, the castle hosts various exhibitions, among others an impressive collection of armour and amber. On the way back you’ll stop in Westerplatte peninsula where the first battle of the Second World War took place on September 1, 1939.
Afternoon & evening:
Free time and overnight in Gdansk.

Day 6

Departure or continuation

Depending on your flight/ train schedule, our driver will take you either to the airport in Gdansk or to the railway station. If you plan to continue to other destinations in Poland or Central Europe to extend your tour, we will be glad to assist with further arrangements.
