What’s so special about Warsaw?
Warsaw, like probably none of the other European capitals, is an extraordinary city of contrasts. Destroyed many times within centuries, but always rebuilt. Dramatic events from the past are reflected in the city’s architecture, where magnificent nineteenth-century tenement houses are adjacent to typical buildings of the socialist era.
Nowadays, glass skyscrapers have become the most dominant in the Warsaw skyline. This diversity, which may seem to be chaotic, is paradoxically a huge advantage of Warsaw. You never know what to expect around the corner 😉
