It cannot be denied that most people visit Katowice for business purposes, but if you are interested in industrial heritage then you should seriously consider coming too. Katowice is easy to get to, thanks to the number of low-cost, direct flights. The city is also convenient for visiting Auschwitz or the Tyskie Brewery. Afterwards you can continue westwards to Wroclaw, or eastwards to Krakow.
